2) Both of my comments on my first pitch were positive and agreed the application could fill an unmet need. The one point they had was if other people were using the field at that time, I would want to use this app through the University of Florida, so the field could be reserved if enough people wanted to play on them. This would solve both conflicts with other people and club/NCAA sports.
3) I made sure to mention in my pitch that the application would be through the University of Florida and it would prevent any conflicts with other people using the field. Also it was pointed out that people would probably not pay for the app. I mentioned that revenue would be made by advertising within the app, but the app itself, would be free.
Hi Austin! I like this idea and agree that it would meet an unmet need! I’ve played on Norman field so many times just to need to move because another team or group started taking up most of the field. Your delivery was also very good and you seemed confident and knowledgeable.

ReplyDeleteHi Austin! Good work with elevator pitch number two. Off the bat I could tell that you knew what you were talking about, you were clear with your words, and your pace was correct. I think it is a great idea and an app I would definitely use. One thing you could work is maybe your introduction. Overall it was very nicely done!
ReplyDeleteI think this idea is pretty cool. I am a big sports lover and I also enjoy to play sports. Something that could get pick up games of any type of sport through an app through the University is genius. I am always trying to get people together to play basketball and it is always hard to get enough people to play. This idea would make it way easier for me to get a group of people to play a sport.
